Now I can see my family very well!
Selina was blind for over two years. Prior to being blind, Selina would travel to Togo and purchase goods that she would sell in her hometown. Unfortunately, as her blindness progressed, she had to stop working. Selina’s son also had to quit work so that he could act as her fulltime caretaker. After her procedure she was excited to share, “Now I can see my family very well! Before [when I was blind], I can’t walk alone - I have a leg injury. I can’t go anywhere unless someone helps me. But now I can walk - I can see everywhere. I am happy, I am happy, I am happy, I am happy!” Selina told us that she looks forward to going back to her trade, reading and singing hymns in church.
