Dr Seth Lartey is a senior lecturer at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and a consultant ophthalmologist at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital in Kumasi Ghana.
He has been involved in the teaching of surgical skills to numerous Ghanaian ophthalmologists and a few international fellows. He has been actively involved in the organization and direct participation of numerous high volume high quality cataract surgical outreaches in Ghana.
Dr Larety contributed to the formation of the Ghana National Cataract Outreach program (NCOP).
He is the former the Head of the Eye Unit at the Komfo Anokye teaching Hospital (KATH), the former Head of Directorate of the Eye Ear Nose and Throat Directorate at KATH and the former President of the Ophthalmological Society of Ghana.
Dr Lartey currently serves as Chairman of the Faculty of Ophthalmology for the Ghana College of Physicians and Surgeons.
