Wendy is a freelance photographer specializing in street photography, landscape and wildlife.
She is passionate about people, loves to travel, and loves to explore and experience diverse cultures. From 2014 to 2019, Wendy served as a missionary photographer for her church in India. It was there that Wendy fell in love with street photography. It was also during this period that Wendy became involved with cataract outreach photography.
Wendy’s first cataract outreach experience was in Nepal. In her words, “What an experience to literally watch hundreds of people in an instant receive their sight. I was hooked! I subsequently volunteered for outreaches in Ethiopia and currently in Ghana. I am thrilled every time I get to go and experience the miracle of sight. And now gathering the stories of the patients who come to receive this miracle of sight is truly one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. It is one of my life’s greatest gifts to be involved with this amazing organization, Daybreak Vision Project”. Wendy is the mother of 4 children and granny to 5 grandchildren. She loves sports, woodworking, gardening and travel.
