With more than 15 years of experience in the tech industry, Chris currently leads a global team at Lenovo as Director of Worldwide Strategy and Operations. In this role, he is responsible for driving global growth and expanding the operating framework to support a multibillion-dollar business unit. Prior to Lenovo, Chris spent several years working in Samsung’s Global Strategy Group in Korea as well as in various roles at GE Capital covering the technology sector.
Chris was first introduced to sight-restoration work when he participated in an outreach in Arba Minch, Ethiopia. The experience inspired and motivated him to take a more active role in the work. He has spent time raising money for sight-restoration outreaches as well exploring mobile technology applications that would benefit the work in remote areas of Africa. He now focuses on all aspects of Daybreak’s operations and logistics to ensure funds raised are deployed as effectively and efficiently as possible.
Chris has a BS in Business Finance from Brigham Young University and an MBA from Duke’s Fuqua School of business. In his free time, Chris can be found on the golf course or exploring the outdoors with his wife and three children.
